Celebrating 25 years of service in Knox County

From the start of our event in 1999 with 40 bikes, raising about $1,300 to 2009 with 550 riders raising $18,500, our goal has been to have fun riding with friends and raise money for Hospice of Knox County Ohio. In a small way, insuring that when family's need the services Hospice provides, they will be there. This website is just another way to inform people of what we do, allowing everyone that wishes to participate whether you ride a motorcycle or not. Everyone is invited to take part in our event held the 3rd Saturday of August every year at our home. The event starts with a 100 mi ride followed by food, bike games and an auction. We also have a live band and plenty of room to camp. We would like to invite you to come out, have fun and help insure Hospice will continue to serve those in need.

The 12th annual FARMSTEAD Poker Run will take place on August 21, 2010 at 8169 Martinsburg road in Mount Vernon. We have a great weekend planned this year with the band "Head Case" playing during the pre-party on Friday night and the "Get Away Band" playing during the main event on Saturday. There will be a DYNO SHOOTOUT held at this years main event! The cost to enter will be $20, which includes a DYNO Analysis and entry into the shootout. For those not wanting to particpate in the shootout, you can have a DYNO Analysis performed on your bike for a $15 fee. Camping during the event is encouraged and FREE. Thursday arrivals are fine for those wanting to set up camp, but we cannot allow any camping prior to that as we will be preparing the grounds for the event. Dave Cook raced dirt track for many years performing most of the maintenance on his motorcycles himself. He later turned pro and raced for 10 years at that level. He has approximately 32 years experience working on V-Twin and Metric motorcycles. Troy Hoeflich has been working on Harley Davidson’s for 8 years and Paul Bricker has approximately 12 years experience in Dyno tuning on both cars and motorcycles.
