HOSPICE OF KNOX COUNTY
Celebrating 25 years of service in Knox County

From the start of our event in 1999 with 40 bikes, raising about $1,300 to 2011 with 620 riders raising $21,000, our goal has been to have fun riding with friends and raise money for Hospice of Knox County Ohio. In a small way, insuring that when family's need the services Hospice provides, they will be there. This website is just another way to inform people of what we do, allowing everyone that wishes to participate whether you ride a motorcycle or not. Everyone is invited to take part in our event held the 3rd Saturday of August every year at our home. The event starts with a 100 mi ride followed by food, bike games and an auction. We also have a live band and plenty of room to camp. We would like to invite you to come out, have fun and help insure Hospice will continue to serve those in need.

This years run was dedicated to our fallen brother Darrell Hutton, FARMSTEAD bartender for 10 years. Darrell died March 26th 2011 of a heart attack while on vacation in Florida. Ride on brother, Forever in the Wind!

Farmstead News!

We want to thank everyone who came to the 13th annual Farmstead Poker Run which took place during the weekend of August 20, 2011 at 8169 Martinsburg road in Mount Vernon. You helped us raise $21,000.00 for Hospice of Knox County with a record 620 riders! We enjoyed an acoustic night with members of Rarebird during the pre-party on Friday night and "Rarebird" played during the main event on Saturday. A special thanks to those who donated items for door prizes, auction items and food. A very special thanks to all the people that helped put this event together! This could not happen without the hard work of dozens of friends and family that put in lots of hours making this happen. We also appreciate everyones continued efforts picking up after the event, you are all awesome! Thanks also to all the people who purchased items at the auctions, live and silent. It was an amazing good time, a huge success and we hope to see ya'll next year!
