HOSPICE OF KNOX COUNTY
Celebrating 25 years of service in Knox County

From the start of our event in 1999 with 40 bikes, raising about $1,300 to 2008 with over 500 riders raising $23,000, our goal has been to have fun riding with friends and raise money for Hospice of Knox County Ohio. In a small way, insuring that when family's need the services Hospice provides, they will be there. This website is just another way to inform people of what we do, allowing everyone that wishes to participate whether you ride a motorcycle or not. Everyone is invited to take part in our event held the 3rd Saturday of August every year at our home. The event starts with a 100 mi ride followed by food, bike games and an auction. We also have a live band and plenty of room to camp. We would like to invite you to come out, have fun and help insure Hospice will continue to serve those in need.

Farmstead News!

We want to thank everyone who came to Farmstead Poker Run the weekend of Aug 16th, 2008 and helped us raise $23,000! with 510 riders.

A special thanks to sponsors & those who donated items for door prizes, auction items and food. A very special thanks to all the people that helped put this event together. This could not happen without the hard work of dozens of friends & family that put in endless hours making this happen and cleaning up afterwards. Thank you to all the people that purchased items @ the auctions, live and silent!

All photo pages have been updated with pics from the 2008 event! We would like to create a "Legends" page with pics from past Farmstead events. If anyone has any pics that they would like to share with everyone on the site, use webmaster@farmsteadpokerrun.com to contact us. If there are any pics you would like to have you may request them also using the webmaster link and we can provide them in the original resolution. Don't forget to check out our biker blog page on this site and ask you to post any planned rides, poker runs, bike nights etc. So if your looking to see who's riding where, check us out!! There were some request's for the routes used last year. The Northern route included stops at The Breeze Inn (Mt Vernon), George's Place (Perrysville), Iron Pony (Lakeville), The Hang Out (Danville) and an optional stop at Hidden Hills Gold Course (Howard). The southern route included stops at Brews (Granville), BeachRidge (Buckeye Lake), Jilley's Saloon (Reynoldsburg), and Flanagan's (Blacklick).
